Easy A is one of the first movie we really saw Emma Stone in and she brings the funny in it. The film follows Olive who decides to pretend to hook up with a classmate to help hide that he is gay. Her decision leads to other classmates coming to her and asking her to lie in exchange for gifts, but it begins to ruin her reputation. Olive decides to embrace The Scarlet Letter but finds that her decisions aren’t the easiest. The film is amusing and has a great cast, and it is great to watch with the entire family. 

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga 

Cast: Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, and Dan Stevens 

Comedy geniuses Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams star in this film that is both funny and a little emotional. The story is about a pair of lifelong friends and musicians from Iceland that is thrown into the Eurovision Song Contest. The contest ends up testing their talents and their relationship with each other. Racheal McAdams is impressive in this movie and is paired well with Will Ferrell; also the music is incredible. 

Always Be My Maybe

Cast: Ali Wong, Randall Park, Michelle Buteau, and James Saito

Yes, this is a romantic comedy, but it is honestly a hilarious movie that will lighten your mood instantly. You see a pair of teenage best friends that have drifted apart but pushed back together in their adulthood. The film is amusing, but it makes you smile throughout. Plus Keanu Reeves makes an appearance, and you will be laughing so hard you’ll probably cry. 

Wine Country 

Cast: Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, and Paula Pell 

Wine Country is the directorial debut of Amy Poehler, and this movie is easy and light to watch. The film is based on a real-life trip the cast took to help celebrate Dratch’s 50th birthday. The actors play an exaggerated version of themselves, and it is hilarious to watch the SNL alums mess around with each other. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy this movie. 

The Other Guys 

Cast: Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, and Michael Keaton 

You’ll be in for several laughs with this movie, which is directed by Adam McKay, the mastermind behind Step Brothers and Anchorman. This movie is set like an action movie but follows the “other guys”, one who is a mild-mannered forensic accountant and the other is a hot-tempered detective who is known for shooting Derek Jeter. There are countless gags throughout the movie, and you’ll be left laughing. 

Lady Bird 

Cast: Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, and Beanie Feldstein 

Lady Bird is a coming of age story that is hilarious and will make you want to watch it countless times. A young girl, Christine, is struggling through her senior year at Catholic high school, and you watch as she tries to navigate through her issues with the help of her mother. The story can get emotional, but it has more funny bits than anything. You’ll love the cast and the story for this entire film. 

Baby Mama

Cast: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Greg Kinnear, and Dax Shepard 

Comedy geniuses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler team up in this film which shows a single woman who decides to have a baby via surrogate. Poehler plays the surrogate who is irresponsible and obnoxious. Although Poehler’s character isn’t pregnant, she keeps the act up to stay close to Fey’s character. 

Dinner for Schmucks 

Cast: Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and Zach Galigianakis 

Be prepared to laugh with this film that stars three comedy masterminds. The film follows a dinner party where friends must bring the saddest loser they can find with them. Unfortunately for them, the “schmucks” make the guest look like losers instead. The movie is funny and a little heart wrenching with lessons to be learned. 

Between Two Ferns: The Movie

Cast: Zach Galifianakis, Lauren Lupkus, and Ryan Gaul

If you love Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns, then the movie is for you. Galifianakis hits the road to find famous people to interview for his no-budget talk show. The interviews are hilarious, and a little awkward and all of his guests do a fantastic job at playing along with the skits. 

RV

Cast: Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines, and Joanna Levesque 

Anything with Robin Williams will be funny, and RV is no different. The movies follow a family that gets a massive RV for a cross-country trip to see the Rockies. Little did the Munro family know that they were about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. The movie is funny, light, and really brings the entire family together.
