This true-crime podcast goes beyond the sick and twisted and adds an element of supernatural to the mix. The podcast takes inspiration from real-life events and adds their own spin on the fictional story. This can include ghost, haunted houses, scary woods, and possessed children. 

And That’s Why We Drink

Hosted by Christine Schiefer and Em Schulz, this weekly podcast talks about crazy occurrences that make you think there is no way this is real. The podcast can feature murder and paranormal stories and will have you doubting what is real and not accurate. This is a popular podcast too, with over 8- million downloads and counting. 


If you love a good conspiracy theory, this is the podcast for you. Hosted by Michelle Shephard, you deep dive into some of the most prominent theories, like Project MKULTRA. This revolves around the CIA and mind control experiments between 1950 and 1960, and some believe it is still going on today. 

Red Collar 

A private investigator spills all the details from white-collar criminals who love to kill. The podcast is still new, but some of the current episodes feature a con man that is pretending to be Clark Rockefeller and more.

Although National Parks might seem like the gem of everyone’s eye that doesn’t mean crime doesn’t happen there. Host Delia D’Ambra describes some horrible and weird events that occur in our National Parks. This can include missing people, to homicides, all which might have you reconsidering your next family camping trip. 

Someone Knows Something 

Cold case family members are interviewed for this Canadian podcast. The podcast has six seasons and the current season is focusing on the disappearance of Donal Izzett Jr, who has been missing for 25 years. The crime of his disappearance is still being investigated after a weird phone call to his mother, and the show will make you feel like you’re a part of the investigation.


If you like all the gruesome details, this podcast is right up your alley. Hosted by Emily G. Thompson, you get in-depth looks at crimes that include 911 calls, trial testimonies, and interviews from some of the world’s most famous crimes.
