Netflix has been cooperating tentatively with its international series, that’s for sure. This time, we’re looking at Italian series, Baby, which is poised for a third and, unfortunately, the final season coming this September. One of the more foreign gems we’ve seen the streaming platform come up with and now that it’s going for its last season, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming installment.
Back in November 2018, the Italian series made its debut for the streaming giant. Since then, the series has been closely tied an related to that of Elite‘s teen cast.
The series revolves around two wealthy girls from Rome who decide to venture into the world of the underground and eventually lead double lives. Not a typical Italian series, eh?
Baby has been one of the few Italian Netflix Originals to come to the platform alongside Curon being the most recent release from the country.
The writers had something to say about the third and final season, and here it is translated from Italian:
“We are thrilled to announce the third season of Baby, which will also be the final. It’s amazing how many you’ve made this journey with us and our characters. We are grateful to you for loving this series, for following it. We feel that the characters have completed their journey and that after three seasons the story has reached its natural conclusion. We are enormously satisfied to have arrived this far and we are ready for the grand finale”.
As for the cast, the following cast members will be returning for their third and final season:
Riccardo Mandolini as Damiano, Giuseppe Maggio as Fiore, Brando Pacitto as Fabio, Mirko Trova as Brando, Chabeli Sastre Gonzalez as Camilla, Lorenzo Zurzolo as Niccolò, Claudia Pandolfi as Monica, Galatea Ranzi as Elsa Altieri, Massimo Poggio as Arturo Altieri, and Isabella Ferrari as Simonetta.
