Amazon Prime Video gives us a preview of ‘Chemical Hearts’

Amazon Studios shared through its social networks a tesseract of ‘Chemical Hearts’, the film inspired by the book ‘Our Chemical Hearts’ written by Krystal Sutherland.

Lili Reinhart stars in the film and is accompanied by Austin Abrams, Adhir Kalyan, Coral Pena, C.J. Hoff, Kara Young, and Sarah Jones.

The synopsis offered by Amazon’s streaming service reads as follows:

“Henry Page (Austin Abrams) is a 17-year-old teenager who has never fallen in love. He is a romantic, but the kind of love he is waiting for in his life hasn’t crossed his path. Then, on the first day of his senior year, he meets an exchange student named Grace Town (Lili Reinhart), and that’s when everything changes. When Grace and Henry are selected to co-edit the school newspaper, Henry is immediately drawn to this intriguing girl. The two characters get to know each other and Henry learns the painful secret that changed Grace’s life. From that point on, Henry falls in love with Grace, or at least the person he thinks she is.”

The film was directed and written by Richard Tanne. Lili Reinhart not only acted but was also the executive producer of the film project.

The film will reach Amazon Prime Video subscribers on August 21st, so we won’t have to wait long to enjoy another original Amazon movie. Those who want to read the novel before watching the film will have a little more than a month to do so.
