WarnerMedia continues to fill HBO Max, bound to launch on Spring 2020, its soon-to-come streaming service offer with quality content. Now, they’ve announced a deal with Ellen DeGeneres for four different shows.
The content included in the deal is, on one hand, Ellen’s Home Design Challenge, First Dates Hotel, and Little Ellen, and, on the other, a docuseries called docu-series Finding Einstein.
Ellen’s Home Design Challenge will show us eight designers that compete for a major prize while DeGeneres decides who’s the best. The show is produced by Warner Bros Unscripted & Alternative Television and A Smith & Co Productions. Jeff Kleeman and Arthur Smith join DeGeneres as executive producers.
Little Ellen is an animated children’s show told from the perspective of a seven-year-old DeGeneres in her hometown, New Orleans. It’s produced by Warner Bros Animation and Ellen Digital Ventures. Kevin Leman II, Sam Register, and Jennifer Skelly join Ellen as exec producers.
First Dates Hotel is based on the format of a UK Channel 4 show that’ll also be available on HBO Max. It is a dating show set at a top-level boutique hotel, featuring multiple generations of single people trying to find love in a dreamy romantic experience. It is produced by Warner Bros Unscripted & Alternative Television with Shed Media, A Very Good Production, and Twenty Twenty. Pam Healy and Dan Peirson join DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman as executive producers.
Finding Einstein is a docu-series that has the goal to find a new generation of geniuses who want to change the world to make it a better place and has the blessing of Albert Einstein’s estate.
