‘Euphoria’ Season 2: Release Date, Zendaya lets us in on what to expect

The Coronavirus pandemic has pretty much postponed every single series we’ve learned to love this year. One of those has definitely been Euphoria and its second season. However, to the rescue is Zendaya and her precautioning of a special “pull event” for all the fans of the show. And so, here’s everything you have to know about the second season of Euphoria!

The series’ second season was supposed to be out in 2020. When the pandemic happened, however, things went south and the production house had to discontinue the series first.

Zendaya, who was poised for an Emmy after absolutely demolishing her role in Euphoria, stated that she and the other artists are willing to return to work––just make sure that it’s safe. So, there’s really not much to say but since it isn’t safe yet, we’re still waiting for other updates about whether or not the comeback is real.

“So, we are all trying to determine the way to eventually make an approaching season 2 that we are proud of our workers and the staff and get the most out of it that we still want to be protected with. Thus,” Zendaya told in an interview during Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“We may wind up doing just a tiny bridge episode. An episode that we can do with a limited amount of individuals in a more secure environment which may give people something.”

“Since we also miss Euphoria because the individuals who create it, too — and give everyone who loves the show just a little something we have something to live on till we’re in a position to go into a season ”

“I don’t remember Rue. And getting back to work is a home base for me. The next season is superbly written, but to do that the way we need it to, we have to wait until it is secure,” she said.

The good thing here is that the second season is written and they’re stepping in the right direction. If anything, this is a good time to hope that we’ll be seeing the series in the near future. It might not be the second season, but at least Euphoria doing something for their audiences that they know they’ll appreciate as we near the launch of another season.

Alongside Zendaya at actors Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn, Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs, Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard, Angus Cloud as Fezco, Barbie Ferreira as Kat Hernandez, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard, Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez, Algee Smith as Chris McKay, Storm Reid as Gia Bennett, Austin Abrams as Ethan Lewis, and Eric Dane as Cal Jacobs.

With their collective efforts, the series was already renewed back in July of 2019.

Wherever the series is headed, Euphoria has its ways of being unpredictable––just how we like it. Sydney Sweeney even told ET that: “You won’t be able to guess what’s coming… I couldn’t even guess it. … I mean, everything with life as a teenager is shocking, so you never know what to expect.”
