Netflix has been harsh with renewals and release dates lately, but that won’t stop us from hoping for the best of each and every series we love from the platform. One of which is the animated series Glitch Techs. The series was lifted from one of the best childhood television channels to ever grace the earth, Nickelodeon.
The first season of the series was quick to impress everyone. Releasing in February 2020, the series presents itself with beautiful, vibrant colors that totally set the mood every time. The premise of the series is that video game monsters and the likes come alive with only destruction in their minds.
Glitch Techs was one of Nickelodeon’s projects especially for Netflix––and if this is a sign for things to come, then let’s get on with it, Nickelodeon!
Though the first season didn’t really leave with a cliffhanger, everyone who watched the show really didn’t mind a second installment––and a second installment they got. People had their doubts, but rightfully so. Nickelodeon, at first, ordered for the first season to be split into two parts and even encountered some problems with production before launching on the platform.
However, the series’ co-creator, Eric Robles, came through with what might be the best news for Glitch Techs fans. Robles took it to Twitter to ask the same questions we were asking––and maybe the second season will have all of the answers.
Who else can’t wait for the next TEN episodes of #Glitchtechs ?!!! Action, comedy, adventure and a series mystery to solve!!!! What’s up with Miko being unable to get mind wiped? Where’s High Fives dad? Who’s Ridley? What’s up with Mitch? What’s the deal with the Hinobi Company? pic.twitter.com/ssiETWiiAR

Robles isn’t new to the entertainment business. In fact, he might’ve been responsible for your favorite childhood TV series that might include The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Fanboy & ChumChum.
No concrete release date has been set, but we’re all just happy to know that there’s another series renewed by the streaming platform. In the meantime, we wait for the latter part of 2020 for any updates from the series and its creators.
Here’s the trailer for the first season, though, if you haven’t watched it yet!
