Many sources have been whispering about certain series and films’ release dates and renewals. Today, though, no whispers are louder than On My Block‘s fourth season coming to Netflix.
According to What’s on Netflix, season four of the teen comedy-drama series will be returning for a fourth installment as per their source who constantly updates them of Netflix’s newest renewal orders like Ozark. What’s great about it is that after their article was up for the series, Netflix confirmed that Ozark was to be renewed––so this might be a sign for good things to come.
The series was created by Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft. As Lungerich’s contract with the streaming platform contains a multi-year output, the fourth season might not be all that surprising.
Constantly making Netflix’s top 10 list, On My Block has served to be one of the streaming giant’s masterpieces. And, boy, if you made it to the top 10 list, you have a pretty hefty following consisting of fans that want another season.

The series revolves around four teens who are just about to begin high school in Freeridge. However, their lifelong friendship gets put to the test as obstacles and a handful of drama comes along the way.
The fourth season is as alien to us as it is to you. Season 3 ended with such a big cliffhanger that we expect the fourth installment to be different from the first three. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait for either a trailer, a sneak-peek, or Netflix’s official statement.
With no official announcements just yet, season 4’s timeline remain to be inconceivable. There are a lot of questions, also, about whether this will be On My Block‘s final season. With that, Netflix has it all planned and organized––especially after The OA and Sense8‘s late announcement of their final seasons which caused clamour from the fans.
