Not wanting to make any statements that might rush it, the content of the DC Universe is being diluted little by little. Many projects that began as something exclusive to the platform are going to other destinations. One example is ‘Doom Patrol,’ which will have its second season on HBO Max. Following in its footsteps would be ‘Harley Quinn,’ which looks like it will have its two seasons on the platform by the end of summer.
Recently, the news about the Harley Quinn animation series have arrived, and it seems that it will accompany other projects such as ‘Doom Patrol’ and ‘Stargirl.’ Undoubtedly, this will generate more exposure, but it makes us wonder if the DC platform will gradually bring more content to HBO Max.
We know so far that the first two seasons of the animated series will arrive on the platform by the end of the summer, with no exact date yet.
The cast that provides the voices that make this series about Harley Quinn is made up by Kaley Cuoco, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Lake Bell, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony HAle, Wanda Sykes, Ron Funches, Jim Rash, Natalie Morales, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, and J.B. Smoove.
The first season of the series of ‘Harley Quinn’ showed the adventures of the villain after her breakup with the Joker and her efforts to join the Legion of Doom. The season finale left us with the apparent death of Batman and the Joker, and Gotham City devastated. The second season, which also comes to HBO Max, continued with Gotham City isolated from the rest of the country while introducing new characters like Batgirl and Catwoman.
