Season 3 of ‘Infinity Train’ premieres exclusively on HBO Max this summer

Continuing its efforts to add content to its animated series category, HBO Max is bringing on board the third season of ‘Infinity Train’ with an exclusive premiere on the streaming platform this summer.

The first season of the series, or Book 1, tells the story of a young woman named Tulip on a mysterious adventure that finds her on a train filled with infinite worlds. Her stay on the train makes it increasingly difficult for her to find her way home. Season two follows Mirror Tulip, a reflection of the mirror world. In this season they explore themes such as identity building, friendship, and feeling pressured by a group.

“‘Infinity Train’ takes us on a mysterious adventure of resolution and growth that we love to experience,” said Billy Wee, SVP of Original Animation at HBO Max. “We are thrilled to be working on this project with Owen to continue this fantastic journey and tell a classic story about inner strength and determination in a new and exciting way.”

“I’m really excited for fans to see the third book! The story, this time is… I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s definitely something the fans will enjoy! When we started working on ‘Infinity Train’, I couldn’t have imagined where it would lead. Still, thanks to our loyal fan base, we can continue on this incredible journey.” said Owen Dennis, creator of the series.

In book 3, Grace and Simon are the leaders of Apex, an anarchic group of children on a mysterious train. During one of their missions, Grace and Simon are separated from the rest of the Apex members and must find their way back. As the duo navigates through the train’s myriad of worlds, they encounter Hazel, a young optimist, and Tuba, her gentle gorilla companion. Will Grace and Simon find new inspiration in Hazel’s innocence, or will Apex’s ways recruit another member aboard the train?

In this season’s announcement, we are given the names of the new characters and some details of their personalities. For example, the fact that Hazel is an optimist reminds us of Jesse but also gives us to understand that she will be the one who will guide Simon and Grace in this journey.

At the moment there is no release date for ‘Infinity Train’ season 3, but if they announced it as a summer release, we know it’s just around the corner. For now, we can only wait for HBO Max to reveal more details about the series.

At the same time, we know that Tuba will be their companion. At the moment we don’t know their history, nor their motivations. Still, those storylines are always something that Owen Dennis surprises us with.

‘Infinity Train’ was created by Owen Dennis and is produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Books 1 and 2 of the animated series now air on HBO Max. So if you want to see the new season, we highly recommend that you watch the first two to get the most out of this animated series.
