Have you ever want to know what’s on the mind of one of the most successful and rich man of our times? If the answer is yes, Netflix will help you do so. Next month, the streaming platform will release a three-part docuseries called “Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates” that aims to understand what is inside the mind of the man behind Microsoft and the biggest philanthropist in the world, who also happens to be the second-richest person in the world.
The documentary will discuss the past, present, and future of his life. His push to become the sole master of Silicon Valley, his struggles against Apple, his long run as the head of Microsoft from its very beginnings, and the controversies that have involved his somewhat recent focus on philanthropy through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that aims to end diseases such as malaria and polio, his life has been a rollercoaster. If the show gets close to what it promises, then it should be worth the watch.
Netflix will premiere the show on September 20th. The docuseries “offers unprecedented access to Gates as he pursues unique solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems with the same level of optimism, curiosity, and fervor that inspired his original vision for Microsoft,” says a Netflix press release.
It will answer even the smallest question about Gates: what his favorite animal and food are, and what his greatest fear. It will be directed by a documentary veteran: An Inconvenient Truth David Guggenheim.
Netflix announced the documentary last week. Now they’ve given us the first peak. Check out the trailer:
