Margot Robbie’s ‘Dollface’ Trailer: Kat Dennings Stars in New Hulu Comedy

Margot Robbie has established herself as one of the biggest names in the entertainment world. First, with plenty of iconic roles as an actress, and now as a producer. She’s produced many of her most recent films, and in November she’ll produce a TV show for the first time. We are talking about ‘Dollface’, starred by Kat Dennings. And we have a trailer.

This new Hulu show follows a woman who is left alone by her friends and as her long-time boyfriends finishes their relationship. With the help of an anthropomorphic cat, she tries to regain contact with her friends, finding out she should’ve never given so much time an effort to a guy forgetting her friends.

The official synopsis says “Dollface follows Jules (Kat Dennings), a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.

This is Denning’s first comedy lead after her role in CBS’ ‘Two Broke Girls.’ She’ll be joined in the cast by Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther Povitsky.

‘Dollface’ was created and written by Jordan Weiss, produced by Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley through LuckyChap Entertainment, her production company, Dennings, Ira Ungerleider, who serves as showrunner, Matt Spicer (‘Ingrid Goes West’) who also directs the first episode, Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan for Screen Arcade, Brett Hedblom, Nicole King and Stephanie Laing.

“Dollface” premieres on Hulu on November 15 and its first season will have 10 episodes.
