‘Murder Manual,’ the horror anthology starring Emilia Clarke, comes to Prime Video

The trailer for ‘Murder Manual’ was recently published, so we could have a look at what we can expect from Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) acting in the horror genre. The film is an anthology consisting of eight short stories of horror, suspense, and drama. Each story has a different director, and everything was compiled into a 1 hour and 31 minutes film. The best part? ‘Murder Manual’ is already available on Amazon Prime Video to stream.

Clarke’s participation in ‘Murder Manual’ takes place in ‘Shackled,’ where she plays Malu, a woman held captive by a strange circus. Eventually, Malu is rescued by her husband, but only to realize that mysterious voices and memories haunt her at every turn. In the trailer, we can see her horrified, escaping from something, and confronting an elusive secret.

The trailer also lets us take a brief look at other stories from ‘Murder Manual,’ but those are more difficult to explain just from what appears in the video. But the official synopsis of the film might give us a little more clarity on this:

“Captivated by a circus, Malu is rescued from her confinement by her husband.”
“‘The silent’ is a short film that tells the story of a little girl who goes from the world of nightmares to the nightmare of reality.”
“A gay couple’s romantic getaway in Palm Springs turns deadly.”

We can assume that we’ll see many different situations in each of the stories in Murder Manual. Although all the stories seem independent of each other, the producers have commented that there’s a subtle connection between them all.

Produced by Hewes Pictures and Freedom Cinema, Murder Manual is now available on the Amazon platform.
