Will Netflix renew Santa Clarita Diet for Season 4?

Fans are very fond of different genres––and Santa Clarita Diet might just be one of those mix of genres you’d never expect.

If you’re curious about why, then just take a look at this synopsis: “Joel and Sheila Hammond are everyday suburban real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. The couple face a series of obstacles when Sheila undergoes a metamorphosis, becomes undead and starts craving human flesh.”

No matter how wonky it gets, the fans just love every season of it––encouraging the franchise to make three more after its first. With Victor Fresco at the helm, the series became a hit after its debut on the platform.

However, Netflix has this… thing… where they magically arrive from nowhere and cancel a show. Unfortunately, this series fell victim.

I mean, what series gives you a good mix of humor and jumpscares, right? That’s what the series offers in a multitude of ways. Because of the current pandemic, though, and how we’re all stuck at home, people have been revisiting and rewatching the series. And after they have, the clamor against Netflix begins.

After three seasons, the people demand the fourth one. The request for what is Santa Clarita Diet’s fourth season has never been higher. The producers and creators are so well-involved that they’ve been reviving scenes even after its cancellation––just to remind the people that this is what they’ve been missing.

In an interview after the cancellation, Victor Fresco, the show’s creator, and Kautsky shared their emotions on the recent happenings about everything that has happened. “As our audiences, we’d been all-in on Sheila and Joel. Netflix took a chance and we will always be thankful. from turning into a wonderful studio, they had been just 1 phone call. Not bad. Everything finishes. This is something. And therefore it ceased.”
