We’re in for a huge July from Netflix and there’s only one question to answer: Are you ready?
Dropping really soon on Netflix is Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller’s live-action adaptation Cursed. As the trailer dropped only recently, we saw epic scenes we’re willing to wait for from the 10-episode show––flaunting Katherine Langford’s reenactment of Nimue and Devvon Terrell’s reenactment Arthur. And come on, how can we forget Gustaf Skarsgård’s Merlin? That was crazy, wasn’t it?
The teaser did a great job not showing too much of the story but just leaving us wanting more. However, judging by the selected scenes, we’re about to indulge ourselves in plenty of fantasy. All we know is that the heroes of the series will be going up against who is Uther Pendragon and his Red Paladins. Either way, that’s an exciting way to put things for the upcoming series.
Here’s what the Netflix synopsis has to say:
Armed with mysterious powers and a legendary sword, young rebel Nimue joins forces with charming mercenary Arthur on a mission to save her people.
The Cursed cast is loaded with stars. Alongside Katherine Langford as Nimue, Devon Terrell as Arthur, and Gustaf Skarsgård as Merling, they will be joined by Daniel Sharman as Weeping Monk, Sebastian Armesto as King Uther Pendragon, Matt Stokoe as Gawain, Lily Newmark as Pym, Shalom Brune-Franklin as Igraine, Emily Coates as Sister Iris, Billy Jenkins as Squirrel, Bella Dayne as Red Spear, and Peter Mullan as Father Carden.
The series will be coming to the streaming giant on the 17th of July.
