There it is, the little sister of Sherlock Holmes is ready to storm Netflix and the real question isn’t when––but are you ready? Adapted from the Nancy Spring novels, this Netflix adaptation of Enola Holmes is expected to swoon every single Netflix subscriber to their feets this September 2020. Yup, you heard that right. This September 2020. Here’s everything you need to know about Enola Holmes with its awaited plot, trailer, and official release date.
Written by Jack Thorne, Enola Holmes is an upcoming Netflix Original British mystery film (just like her brother, eh?) and will be directed by Fleabag‘s very own, Harry Bradbeer. As you know by now, the film will be inspired by Nancy Springer’s novels. Legendary Pictures and PCMA Productions will be spearheading everything related to, well, production, obviously.
As for the stars, Millie Bobby Brown will be leading and will also be acknowledged as one of the producers for the feature. As for the score, oh the score will be epic––headed by Daniel Pembleton who previously composed the soundtrack for Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and you know how that went.
Everything came to fruition on the 17th of August, 2020 when a new teaser from Netflix’s official @NXOnNetflix Twitter account released a new teaser for the movie. And as it stands, we’ll be seeing the premiere of the movie on the 23rd of September, 2020.

As per Netflix, this will be the plot for Enola Holmes.
England, 1884 – a world on the brink of change. On the morning of her 16th birthday, Enola Holmes wakes to find that her mother has disappeared, leaving behind an odd assortment of gifts but no apparent clue as to where she’s gone or why. After a free-spirited childhood, Enola suddenly finds herself under the care of her brothers Sherlock and Mycroft, both set on sending her away to a finishing school for “proper” young ladies. Refusing to follow their wishes, Enola escapes to search for her mother in London. But when her journey finds her entangled in a mystery surrounding a young runaway Lord, Enola becomes a super-sleuth in her own right, outwitting her famous brother as she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set back the course of history.
