Finally, some good news! With all the cancellations from Netflix’s chopping block, we’re finally greeted with new episodes of Unsolved Mysteries––landing in the streaming giant this October 2020. Here’s everything you need to know about the second season of the mystery series!
If you missed the announcement from the streaming giant, they actually renewed the classic series that takes a deep dive into the biggest mysteries of the world––from those of crimes to the simply supernatural. If you’re a mystery hunter, this series is surely for you.
The first part of the series boasted of titles including:
- Mystery on the Rooftop
- 13 Minutes
- House of Terror
- No Ride Home
- Berkshires UFO
- Missing Witness
Ever since the series launched on the 1st of July, the series has exploded into the top lists in multiple countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, and Australia. Well deserving of spots from each of the countries.
What’s most respectable about the renewal was even before the first season dropped on the platform, a second was already in development. I don’t know if it was smart, but when Netflix ordered the episodes of the series, they agreed upon 12 episodes per outing. However, we’ve only had six for the first season. If you do quick maths, multiply the x to y and carry the 2, you know that we’re about to receive another batch of six and luckily, it’s already on the way.
The Unsolved Mysteries website even confirmed that by stating:
“In 2020, Netflix is releasing 12 new episodes of Unsolved Mysteries produced by Cosgrove/Meurer Productions and 21 Laps.”
It’s coming to the streaming platform as soon as the 19th of October, 2020. The streaming giant did label the second season as “Volume 2,” but we’ll stick to saying seasons just to be clear.
