Thor is Chris Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth is Thor. One thing that keeps him the only person in that conversation is his physique––but his little brother Liam seems like he’s trying to give his big bro a run for his money.
This week, News.com.au caught up with Big Brother Hemsworth through video call to have a little talk about his upcoming project with Netflix, Extraction. And for the heck of it, they just had to bring up how Liam was becoming the fitter Hemsworth to which Chris replied:
“I think he’s done it. Did you see the Men’s Health cover? I thought, ‘Not bad kid. Not bad'”
“He’s out there training and staying fit, and back in Australia doing his thing.”
“It’s Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu,” Hemsworth said with a big smile on his face alongside a bunch of laughs with Extraction‘s director Sam Hargrave who’s also in the interview. If you get this joke, then good for you. 😉
Playing as Tyler Rake in the new Netflix action film, Chris will be playing a fearless black market mercenary who’s called upon to rescue a child kidnapped by an international criminal in India.
In Extraction, he’s reunited up with Avengers: Endgame‘s stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave who makes his directorial debut with the film so you’d better expect a ton of action-packed scenes.
“The whole thing was by far the most exhausting shoot I’ve ever been a part of,” Chris said.
“Sam and I have worked together on Avengers films and I knew it was going to be full of all the talent he was going to bring to the table with actions and stunts, but he took it up to a whole new level that I hadn’t experienced before.”
“You know, you have Sam strapped to the bonnet of a car, diving off buildings with you in amongst fight sequences.”
“The camera work has an energy for us as performers that’s pure adrenaline. And exhaustion.”
