‘New Amsterdam’ Season 2 coming next week to Prime Video

Can we ever get enough of medical dramas? Actually, no. And Amazon knows it. The second part of the New Amsterdam season 2 comes to Amazon Prime Video in less than a week. It will be available from this April 21st.

To recap, New Amsterdam is a series based on a book written by Eric Manheimer called Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital, in which he tells stories he lived during the 15 years he worked as medical director of that hospital. It’s an NBC original that’s been airing on Prime Video for a while, too.

It wasn’t enough with the dizzying finale of the first season, where – relax, I’m not going to spoil you, but run to see the series – we ended up with the death of a beloved character of the show. Nor was it enough with episode 9 of the second season, where we saw a tense situation with female prisoners in which we were left with the feeling that our favorite doctors were in imminent danger. We will have nine more episodes for binge-watch as it should be during this quarantine.

counting on:

Anupam Kher (Silver Linings Playbook)

Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who)

Janet Montgomery (The Romanoffs)

Jocko Sims (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan)

Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist)

Tyler Labine (StartUp)

There is still time to catch up with New Amsterdam if you have never seen it, but you’d better hurry up, there are six days left for us to enjoy the rest of the second season on Amazon Prime Video.
