‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’s Noah Centineo & Lana Condor have cancelled their meetup in Philippines

Hey, Philippines. A little birdie told me some really bad news, especially for Noah Centineo and Lana Condor fans. 🙁

Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before stars are no longer coming to the Philippines this month, most particularly on February 15 and 16, because of the current novel coronavirus dilemma the country has been recently facing.

Netflix Philippines announced the cancellation on Twitter on Wednesday.

“In light of the recent coronavirus situation, we’re so sad to announce that we’re cancelling the ‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’ Philippines event. Your health, safety and well-being will always be our priority. We’d like to say a huge thank you for all the excitement you’ve shown towards Lana, Noah and the film,” the statement from the Netflix Philippines Twitter page said.

Like what I said earlier, they were supposed to both be in the Philippines on the 15 of February 2020 and only Centineo on the 16th. The event on the 15th was supposed to happen at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati for a fan meet while the event on the 16th was supposed to be an event for Centineo and homegrown clothing brand Bench. The clothing brand has also cancelled the event.

If you’re not familiar with what made these two famous and what urged them to go see their fans, then you’re late for the train, bud. Either way, I’m sure everyone can and will accept you. Here’s a little synopsis from IMDb to get you started:

Teen Lara Jean Covey lives a normal, boring high school life until some unexpected letters get released to all her former crushes. These were love letters and were meant for her eyes only, until one day her sister Kitty sends them out in hopes to give Lara Jean a more interesting life. At school her life is thrown into turmoil when these boys start to approach her about their letters. Among these boys are Josh, who happens to be her next door neighbor and her older sister Margot’s boyfriend, and Peter Kavinsky, her arch nemesis, Gen’s boyfriend. Through out some very unusual events Lara Jean finds herself and maybe even a real relationship.
