The news and rumors surrounding the second season of The Mandalorian don’t stop. The last few days one of the most discussed stories about the Disney+ series is that Timothy Olyphant will participate in the new season of The Mandalorian.
There have been a lot of rumors about the cast of the second season of The Mandalorian. And so far, the rumors haven’t been confirmed. First we heard that Rosario Dawson would be in the series as Ahsoka Tano and then we heard that Katee Sackhoff would have a role to play Bo-Katan. Now the rumors are that Timothy Olyphant will appear on the show under the armor of Boba Fett.
SlashFilm gave the initial warning about the rumor, and judging by his record of success on other news and leaks, they may well be right about this as well.
The question all fans in the Star Wars universe are asking is if Boba Fett was supposed to be played by Temuera Morrison. Still, now we are told that Timothy Olyphant will be under the armor of Boba Fett, so, who will Olyphant really be playing?
Some expert fans in the plot have already given us a couple of possibilities. Maybe Olyphant would play a new character called Cobb Vanth, a character from Tatooine that desires to take power after Jabba’s death and the fall of the empire.
In any case, that’s just a theory. Although I don’t deny that it would be exciting to have a Vanth-related story arc in the second season of The Mandalorian.
