Sandra Bullock and Viola Davis’ untitled thriller has added more fire power to the cast

Whenever Netflix and Sandra Bullock are together, good things just happen. We just accept it for what it is and treasure it for the years to come––just like Bird Box, eh?

This time, it’s Bullock and Viola Davis leading for an untitled Netflix thriller from the King himself, Graham King. Joining the star-studded duo are Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond and Emma Nelson. Together with them are Aisling Franciosi and Rob Morgan.

If you think the cast is exciting, wait until post-production. Directing the film will be Germany’s own Nora Fingscheidt together with Mission: Impossible – Fallout director, Christopher McQuarrie, to manage the script.

Bullock and a hint of a dark plot always hits the spot for the audience, and this untitled thriller supports that mantra. Bullock’s character has just served a hefty time in prison and was just recently released. As she tries to feel warm with society, they welcome her with judgment and the unrelenting past that is attached to her. With every one she loves turning their backs against her including her closest friends and peers, the only saving grace for her is to find the younger sister she was forced to leave behind.

I love this supporting cast, honestly, and it just goes to show how much thought has been put out for this film. With the likes of D’Onofrio who starred in The Godfather of Harlem and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and Bernthal who was seen in Ford v. Ferrari which was Oscar-nominated, might I add, and even has a very promising future with a very promising line-up of films for 2020.

D’Onofrio is repped by UTA and Silver Lining Entertainment, Bernthal is repped by WME, Thomas is repped by Innovative Artists, Edmond is repped by CAA and Nelson is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment.

Wooohooo! The fact that it’s still untitled makes it even more interesting and exciting. In this age of films falling to their demise, I really hope this one doesn’t.
