How to Stream Game of Thrones Season 8 on Netflix, Hulu & NowTV

Winter is finally here! Game of Thrones season 8 is on the air, and hopefully it will give us the satisfying end we have been waiting for, and leave at least some of our favourite characters alive to tell the tale.

But if you don’t have a TV, or don’t have cable TV, how can you watch the final season of Games of Thrones, and binge on the previous seasons to pick up on all the Easter eggs people are talking about online?

Sorry Netflix lovers, Game of Thrones is not available on Netflix, and is unlikely to be available on that streaming service any time in the near future. But you still have lots of options for watching.

Game of Thrones is made by the cable network HBO, and you can subscribe to the network and watch their shows on demand without a full cable subscription. You can sign up for a one week free trial, and after that you are looking at $14.99 per month. We are only looking at 7 episodes, so if you time your free trial carefully, you may only need to pay for one month. Find your HBO package here.

Streaming service Hulu has a deal with HBO, so you can also access Game of Thrones through your Hulu account. Plans on Hulu start at $5.99 per month, but then you need to add HBO. Again, you get a one week free trial, but after that you are looking at $14.99 a month. But this is a great option if you are a Hulu user and like the platform. Find your Hulu HBO package here.

Amazon Prime Video

Much the same as Hulu, Amazon has an arrangement with HBO, and you can add HBO to your Amazon Prime Video subscription for $14.99 per month, after enjoying a one week free trail period. Find your Amazon HBO package here.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue is pretty much a full-blown cable subscription, so this is quite an expensive way to get your hand on Game of Thrones. You will need to pay $44.99 per month, but then you will also get a full package of other channels. Surprisingly, you don’t need a PlayStation device to get one of these subscriptions. Find your PlayStation Vue Package here.

Now TV

Of course, all of these options only work if you are in the United States. If you are in the United Kingdom, your best option is to stream Game of Thrones is Now TV, where you can watch the current series and all the previous episodes. This service also offers a 7 day free trial, but after that you are looking at £7.99 per month. Find your Now TV package here.
