The series consists of eight improvised episodes that show the stories of puppies abandoned on the English streets who meet their new human companions in a dog adoption center.
WarnerMedia and HBO’s new streaming platform released a trailer on Wednesday that will move even the most unemotional people. It is ‘The Dog House: UK,’ a mini-series that will arrive at HBO Max on July 23rd with all its episodes being available that same day. The series shows the daily life of the staff at Wood Green animal rescue center in rural England, an organization that seeks new homes for puppies that have been abandoned on the streets or abused.
Each episode will tell a unique story about puppies that have not yet found a home. Simultaneously, the chapters will also explore the backstories of families, couples, and single people who are dying to have a furry companion in their home to improve some aspect of their lives.
Wood Green is the dog adoption center where much of the series will take place. The center is in charge of finding the perfect puppy for each person interested in adopting one of these furry friends. But you’ll get to see that process firsthand when ‘The Dog House: UK’ will hit your screen on July 23rd.
‘The Dog House: UK’ is one of the latest proofs that HBO Max is unwilling to be left behind in its efforts to diversify its content. The platform premiered with over 10,000 hours of exclusive content and has since increased that number with new shows.
