If you haven’t been up to par, The Sinner‘s third season was just recently dropped and available on Netflix. Uncoincidentally, it’s just as crazy and epic as the first two seasons.
With that, Detective Ambros is back yet again to solve another crime that is a lot crazier and questionable (in a good way) after your first glance. Ah, yes, The Sinner IS back.
The series boasts of a thrilling eight episodes and starts off with Detective Ambrose in Upstate New York investigating a car crash that will soon be dubbed as one of the most disturbing cases of his career––if not the most disturbing and dangerous.
The official synopsis describes the series as: “The Sinner’s third installment follows Detective Harry Ambrose as he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York.”
“Ambrose uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.”
All you have to know though, without getting any spoilers out, is that the detective investigates the car crash that kills the driver––but not the passenger named Jamie. Jamie then sits down in Detective Ambrose’s hot seat for investigation.
As for the cast, Bill Pullman has returned as Detective Ambrose while Matt Bomer has joined the cast to portray Jamie––the character mentioned before. Alongside them is Chris Messina as Jamie’s old college friend who might just be the key to all of this, who knows? See for yourself.
If The New York Post praised the series, what more the audiences? As Bill Pullman and Matt Bomer acted their lives out, the show was acclaimed to be an “engaging mystery”.
Even the people took it to social media to share how they felt about the series, here are some of our favorites!
