Netflix releases trailer of ‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’

Netflix unveiled the trailer of ‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You,’ where Lana Condor and Noah Centineo take again their roles as Lara Jean and Peter. However, their relationship goes through tough times when a new love interest rises.

The trailer first shows Lara Jean and Peter on a dinner date, and Lara Jean talks about their fake romance that becomes a real one in the first movie. “This is my first date,” Lara Jean says. “We’ve gone out on a bunch of dates,” Peter replies, to which Lara Jean clarifies, “Yeah, but those weren’t real.”

Afterward, they vow not to break each other’s hearts. Yet, their relationship comes to a halt, when Lara faints (a reference to a scene from the first movie) and wakes up next to John Ambrose MccLaren.

With him, who received another of her letters, she starts a romance as they dig into their mid-school past. “I need proof that someone actually liked me in middle school,” says John Ambrose. “Everyone liked you in middle school,” Lara Jean responds.

The trailer comes just a week after Netflix revealed a bunch of first-look pictures for the upcoming film. The film saga is based on Jenny Han’s novel trilogy. The first film was released in August 2018 and was one of the most-watched Netflix original films of that year. Netflix announced the sequel less than six months after the first film premiered.

Michael Fimognari directed the film, and Susan Johnson, who directed the first, serves as exec producer. Sofia Alvarez was the sequel’s screenwriter alongside J. Mills Goodloe.

‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’ premieres on Netflix on February 12. Enjoy the trailer below:
