What’s Coming to Netflix US & UK in August 2020 – Full List

Here we are again with another month of Netflix! If you thought July was a banger, then don’t be afraid to dive deep in the streaming giant’s releases for August. With a handful of international series and films comes plenty of Netflix Originals such as Lucifer and Glitch Techs––and a surprising hope for James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig.

August 1 Releases

  • A Knight’s Tale (2001) – Medieval Romance Drama starring the great Heath Ledger
  • Acts of Violence (2018) – Action movie starring Bruce Willis
  • An Education (2009) – Set in 1960s London, this coming of age drama is something to watch out for.
  • Being John Malkovich (1999) – A comedy from Spike Jonze that dives into the life of John Malkovich

  • Dennis the Menace (1993) – A classic 90s take on the Beano cartoon
  • Elizabeth Harvest (2018) – Sebastian Gutierrez’s horrifying thriller
  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) – Starring Jim Carry and Kate Winslet, this movie won a deserving Oscar––and it’s calling out your name to watch it.
  • Hardcore Henry (2015) – An experimental first-person film full of action
  • Iron man Armored Adventures (Seasons 1 & 2) – The story of teenage Tony Stark embedded in a Marvel animated series
  • Jurassic Park (1993) – The classic three-time Oscar-winning movie from Steven Spielberg is coming to the platform!

  1. I think this is only for the US, not the UK. We already have some of these in the UK library (Being John Malkovich, Jurassic Park) and there was no mention of movies that came to UK Netflix on 1st August, like American History X.
